Charanga

Subsidised access for Hertfordshire primary phase and special schools as one of the options schools can choose from as part of the digital learning package HMS offer to Hertfordshire schools.

Drawing together the practical skills of singing and playing, listening, improvising and composing, Musical School offers specialists and generalist classroom teachers everything they need to teach music confidently.

414 schools and 3,575 teachers in Hertfordshire actively use the Charanga platform to help them teach music.

Musical School combines great music, modern pedagogy and the latest educational technology. A supplementary CPD and training programme helps you get the most from it.

Training

All primary phase schools can join their local music network to receive support for curriculum music and develop new skills. We offer training on using various resources, including Charanga, and advice on ‘Deep Dives’ and the Model Music Curriculum, for which Charanga also has a Scheme.
