Submit your song for a chance to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in 2023
Hertfordshire Music Service is excited to offer young people who go to school or live in Hertfordshire an opportunity to perform their own song at the Royal Albert Hall, as part of the Hertfordshire Schools’ Gala on Sunday 30 April 2023.
Submissions can be made by uploading your original song(s) via our online application form. The winning song should be approx. 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
The submission deadline for this opportunity is Wednesday 31 August 2022.

Weekly Songwriting Clubs
Join our Weekly Songwriting Clubs taking place during term time.
- Learn different songwriting techniques
- Write and play with other young musicians and songwriters
- Perform at Songwriter showcases
- Develop song analysis skills
- Expand your musical taste and knowledge, to use as inspiration for your own songwriting
- You also have the opportunity to complete Bronze Level Arts Award, with regular attendance.
