Harp teacher

Hertfordshire Music Service Pay Scale for new appointments

This is a part-time hourly paid posts (£19.47 to £25.36)

We are looking for an enthusiastic harp teacher to work in Hemel Hempstead and Watford School of Music.

Progression up the pay scale is through successful performance management.

Interviews will take place on Monday 3rd December 2018 at Mid Herts Centre for Music & Arts in Hatfield.

Appointments are only made once all employment checks have been successfully completed including references and an enhanced DBS.

You may be just starting out on your teaching career - in which case contact us and we can talk to you about pracitcal first steps - we always look for potential, enthusiasm and a genuine willingness to learn. 

We are regularly looking for teachers to deliver primarily one-to-one lessons in our music centres, either in the evenings or on Saturday mornings, which can be up to a four hour a day in some cases.

Interest in, and experience of, delivering whole class tuition is always valuable (though by no means essential), as is experience of working with SEND pupils and other harder to reach groups.

Watford Palace Theatre Musical Director Required

 Watford Palace Theatre is currently recruiting for a freelance Musical Director to lead the Watford Palace Theatre Community Choir (WPTCC). The WPTCC currently have over 40 members from the local community who meet regularly during term time for 11 sessions on Wednesday evenings, from 7.30pm-9.30pm at the theatre in our rehearsal studio, or local venues within walking distance of the theatre.

As well as the regular summer and Christmas concerts at WPT, the WPTCC often sing at community events and fundraisers across Hertfordshire and beyond.  If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity please contact Samantha Ford on : samantha@watfordpalacetheatre.co.uk
