Hertfordshire Music Service Pay Scale
£17.55 to £24.61 per hour
To commence September 2017
Progression up the pay scale is through successful annual Appraisal.
Part-time, hourly paid posts will be available for suitable applicants.
In special circumstances full time positions may be considered.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers of all instruments who are interested in joining our successful instrumental and vocal team. We have an extensive Whole Class Ensemble Teaching programme (First Access) and encourage all new teachers to include this in their work.

We are particularly interested in applications from teachers in the following areas:
- Whole Class Ensemble Teaching (First Access)
- Teaching of special educational needs and disabilities or vulnerable children and young people
- Workshop leaders interested in working in youth and community settings
- Some supported training may be available for less experienced applicants
