Tuition at Rickmansworth Music Centre

At Rickmansworth Music Centre, we offer courses for young people from ages 5-14 years, introducing and then developing their musical skills. We are an inclusive Saturday School and aim to make music accessible and fun for all children.

5-8 years: 11.30-12.30
Staged class giving children the ‘building-blocks’ of music through singing, musical games, movement, recorder and percussion.

7-14 years: 9.30-12.00
A full morning of music activities in a happy, busy and constructive environment, including bands, song-writing, singing, music writing, recorder, strings, wind, brass groups and more …

Instrumental lessons are available individually and occasionally in pairs/groups during the morning for the following instruments:

• Woodwind: Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone and Flute
• Guitar: Classical
• Piano
• Recorder
• Brass: Trumpet and Cornet
• Strings: Violin
