Live Music

Hertfordshire Music Service can bring a live interactive musical experience into your school, providing a unique, cultural and exhilarating concert. Listening to Live Music is one of the most inspirational activities children and young people can do.

Experiences can take the form of an interactive concert, where the HMS team will not only perform to the pupils, but engage them in a range of musical tunes and songs.

Our interactive demonstrations and concerts come in a range of different musical styles and genres. These can be part of an ‘Arts Week’, an assembly, or an afternoon workshop.

Another arm of the Live Music initiative is Live Music for Schools. HMS organise Live Music Events in large local music venues for schools to attend as the audience; teaming up with Hub partners to provide to an exciting and memorable event. Past and future events involve the Watford Colosseum and professional musicians from the BBC, including ‘Ten Pieces’ initiative.

This programme of exciting opportunities is for all schools in the County, to engage with music in a stimulating, inspiring and life enhancing way that only Live Music can deliver.
