Hertfordshire County Classical Guitar Ensemble and Forum
Directors: Lee Sollory and David Van Spall
Required standard: Grade 7 (ensemble) Grade 4 (forum)
Age range: 13 - 18 years
CCGE and the Forum meet for a 3-day course in the summer holidays and for 2-day courses in the autumn and spring half terms. The County Classical Guitar Ensemble explores a wide variety of music including commissions and arrangements and gives three concerts per season. The Ensemble also makes recordings, including their CD, Evocation.
In addition to the County Classical Guitar Ensemble, there is also the Classical Guitar Forum that meets concurrently with the Ensemble. The Forum is a feeder group for CCGE, training and coaching future members, following a similar format of tuition.
